Coming from the beatitudes we are going to discover what and who makes us truly happy. Interestingly enough, according to the beatitudes there are no states of happiness worth striving for, however it is in the midst of the areas of tension in our lives where God’s intervention is celebrated.
This is a challenging take on our hedonistic society where the pursuit of personal happiness is the highest goal.In the body we will move thru these controversies and grow beyond ourselves towards the fountain of life.

Inspired by the same named book, we will draw from the experience and wisdom of the old monks like Franz from Assisi, Ignatius from Loyola and Benedict as well as from nuns like Hildegard from Bingen, Therese from Lisieux and Maria Ward. Their basic attitudes to life we will embody and we will move thru their revelations. It’s a matter of important experiences that help us cope more easily with the challenges of life. They show us the way to more contentment and joy.
The good thing is that we don´t have to go through the same things they did but rather we can learn from those, that went ahead of us and dealt with the adversaries of everyday life. In some we will recognize ourselves and others will appear new to us. It is going to get interesting to experience, how they mastered personal, spiritual and social crisis of their times with the help of God. A quarter, that will encourage us in this day and age of viruses to stay true to ourselves, to dance to our own melodies and to dare venturing into new things.

The human body is truly a piece of art by an amazing artist. Together we will go on an anatomic discovery tour through organs, muscle fibres, the skeleton, circulation of the blood and the nervous system. Everything is interconnected and tuned into each other. A lot is happening unconsciously and automatically inside of us.
Through perception exercises and movement impulses we will respect and honour our body anew as well as celebrate and dance with it.

Dance as a dialogue between body and soul
After exploring our bodies in the last quarter, we will go into an immersion session and delve into the language without words,
"Body language is a type of communication in which physical behaviors, as opposed to words, are used to express or convey information. Such behavior includes facial expressions, body posture, gestures, eye movement, touch and the use of space. [...] Although body language is an important part of communication, most of it happens without conscious awareness." -- -- Wikipedia
